Dan’s work with McAllister Garfield is centered around corporate and commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and other transactional and business matters. He also assists clients in regulated industries, including cannabis and hemp, with licensing and regulatory compliance matters. Dan represents both public and private company clients navigate the state and local regulatory landscape while forming creative solutions to accomplish their goals. Dan helps his clients negotiate commercial agreements while mitigating risk and legal exposure. He also has experience with business entity formation, and debt and equity financing transactions, facilitating the growth of his clients’ businesses.
Prior to joining McAllister Garfield, Dan interned in two prominent Denver law firms’ corporate practices groups, emphasizing acquisition transactions and corporate formation. During law school, he focused on corporate law and transactional drafting coursework and graduated from the Corporate and Commercial Law program. He participated in several business negotiation and transactional competitions as well.
Dan earned his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2019 and a B.S. degree from Indiana University in 2016. Dan prefers to spend his free time outside either skiing, golfing, horseback riding. He also is an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds, Colorado Avalanche, and Denver Nuggets.
